Letter for parents/carers in case of COVID-19 (not in the same group or class)

Dear parent/carer,

A person at your child’s childcare centre has tested positive for COVID-19. We understand that this raises many questions about the risk to your child.

The Municipal Public Health Service (GGD) is investigating who had contact with the person who tested positive. Other children in the same group who had contact with this person will be notified, with advice on what to do.

If you have not received a message accompanied by advice on what to do, then your child did not have contact with the person who tested positive. That means that your child will not be at risk of infection.

More information or questions?

We understand that the situation may raise many concerns and questions. If you have questions about COVID-19 at your child’s childcare centre, please contact your local Municipal Public Health Service (GGD).
