Letter for pupils (and parents/carers) in case of COVID-19 (not in the same group or class)

Dear pupil and parent/carer,

A person at school has tested positive for COVID-19. We understand that this raises many questions about the risk to you.

The Municipal Public Health Service (GGD) is investigating who had contact with the person who tested positive. Pupils who had contact with this person will be notified, with advice on what to do.

If you have not received a message and advice on what to do, then you did not have contact with the person who tested positive. That means that you are not at risk of infection.

More information or questions?

We understand that the situation may raise many concerns and questions. If you have questions about COVID-19 at your school, then you or your parent/carer can contact your local Municipal Public Health Service (GGD).

General information about COVID-19 and the coronavirus can be found at https://www.government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19. You can also call the public information number: 0800-1351.
